9 Stages of how to make your life more happening

To rise above the immediate concerns and visualize the future is one of the most difficult things you’ll ever have to do. Most individuals are so preoccupied with the small concerns of daily life that they forget to ask the big issues that need answering. People often come to me with inquiries about how they might improve their circumstances and experience more happiness and success.
I think you’re asking the incorrect question if you expect success or easiness. I believe these inquiries stem from the assumption that a life with fewest difficulties and greatest outcomes is the ideal. To the contrary, in my opinion. To me, the ideal existence is one full of fascinating experiences and opportunities. You will come to realize that the quality of your life during the journey to the finish is far more important than the ease with which you arrive there or the longevity of your achievements.
Here are nine ways to transform a boring existence into something truly worthwhile. Engaging and exciting life.

Step One: Expand Your Social Circle

Having a wider circle of friends is a great way to spice up your routine and add variety to your life. Every friendship you form gives you a window into another person’s life. If the bond is meaningful, you’ll be able to learn about and benefit from their unique perspectives, experiences, and personal development.
Some people who have difficulty making new friends use an elitist worldview to rationalize their isolation. You can rationalize avoiding other people by saying they are inferior (dumb, rude, inconsiderate, or cruel). Unfortunately, this mentality taints every connection you make, isolating you from other people.
Socializing in Life
The psychological idea that we all have the same innate propensity to seek out and create relationships with new people is wrong, in my opinion. I used to be much more reserved than I currently am Just a few years ago, I struggled to keep more than a handful of friends, but now I know hundreds and have close links to a relatively small group. Although natural ability to interact with others is a plus, anyone may develop their social skills by regular practice.

Step 2: Develop New Interests

Just think back to that one thing you’ve been dying to do but never found the time for. It’s time to act. You can’t sit around waiting for your calendar to clear before you start making progress in life. It’s not that you should ignore your responsibilities entirely, but you should make an effort to branch out occasionally.
To that end, don’t spend too much time on any one pastime. The rewards of being an expert at a hobby are usually not substantially greater than those of becoming proficient, because most hobbies are not vital talents. Stay with your passion if it brings you joy, but don’t forget to keep exploring new possibilities.

Step Three: Act in an Improvised Manner

I have to admit that my capacity for spontaneity has historically been quite limited. Keeping to a routine was really important to me. In retrospect, I see that I passed up as many possibilities as I took advantage of when I strictly adhered to my plan. In contrast to popular belief, spontaneity is not a particularly challenging skill to acquire.
Possessing a rigid internal discipline system is essential for successful adaptability. Having this skill means being able to take advantage of possibilities but also being aware of the potential drawbacks. Without this self-control, it’s easy to procrastinate as responsibilities pile up.
This ironically requires a rather rigorous approach to productivity as a starting point. From here on out, take advantage of a growing number of spur-of-the-moment possibilities while steadily increasing your rate of compliance with necessary obligations. Over time, you should develop the flexibility to weigh the benefits of an opportunity against the costs of seizing it.

Step 4: Confront Your Fears

Fear is the number one opponent to a fulfilling existence. As a result of trying to keep yourself inside a narrow range of “safe” activities, boredom is really another sign of anxiety. When you work up the nerve to face your anxieties, your life will instantly become more engaging, difficult, and ultimately rewarding.

Step 5: Do things you don’t want to do

This is a strange step to take, but it’s crucial if you want to live a fascinating life. In order to grow, you must occasionally experiment with things you normally would avoid. You could be disappointed, or you could find something you really like. It’s funny how I used to think I’d detest a lot of the things I now really enjoy.
Irregular in their timing? Participate in some dance classes. Who said you couldn’t be an athlete if you tried? Participate in a neighbourhood team sport. Why does everything you cook catch on fire? Give cooking classes a shot (and pick up an extra fire extinguisher).

Step Six: Add Some Heat

Exactly what makes life interesting? Obviously, a wide range of options. Increasing your life’s variety is the single most effective way to make your daily routine more exciting. We humans are creatures of habit, and as such, we are prone to falling into either good or terrible routines. The only way to add some variety to your life is to stop repeating the same old things over and over again.
From the author of a book series on habit formation, this may come as a surprise. Please tell me it’s not. Less than one percent of your daily behaviors will be ones you deliberately set up and maintain. Most of these routines are either unremarkable or even harmful, so they might need a strong jolt to spice things up a bit.
Next morning, instead of driving the same route to work, try a new breakfast place or tune into a radio station you’ve never heard before. What’s more, that’s simply the warm-up for the actual work. There is no shortage of options for spicing things up, and while doing so may seem like a waste of time, it’s actually crucial to making each day count.
One of my friends told me about this fun challenge she had found to spice things up a bit. Pick up something from the foreign food section of the supermarket the next time you’re there. I snacked on plantain chips and drank guava juice last week. Today, I’m going to chill some grass jelly juice.

Step 7: Look Beyond Yourself for Meaning

Do you want to know the secret to perpetual misery and how to make yourself feel worse? Don’t stop worrying about everything that’s wrong. It is time to stop obsessing over such trivia and start concentrating on finding solutions for other people’s difficulties. This not only makes other people like you and appreciate you more, but it also helps to solidify your connections and adds spice to your own life.
A common misconception is that assisting others is something you do for no other reason than to make the world a better place. False, helping others actually benefits you. Is there a biological explanation for the high you experience after helping others? For selfish reasons, helping others is good for you. Both parties’ benefit.
If you’re looking to spice up your life without piling on more and more stress, helping other people out with their difficulties is a terrific method to do so. Even if your goal is as modest as spreading joy through humor or good vibes. An intriguing life is yours for the taking when you make every connection serve a greater good than your own.

Step 8: Give Up on Negative Options

There comes a moment when the motivation and excitement you once felt for achieving your goals begins to dwindle. Put an end to activities that are no longer worthwhile. It’s a waste of time to complete a task that has lost its value. Whoever stated, “Always finish what you start,” clearly led a dull existence.
Unfortunately, I have a history of giving up on goals because I thought they were impossible to achieve. This was a terrible error on my part, but when I start to feel bored, I generally try my hand at something new. The bigger error is to persist in the pursuit of a goal that has lost its significance. I have done this, squandering months and years on pursuits that, once attained, brought me nothing but disappointment. Give up on a dead end and make the most of every second.

Step 9: Keep pushing forward

Usually, when people encourage you to “not settle,” they mean “don’t give up” until you get what you want. Though I see the significance of this insight, I intend to use “settle” in a different sense. What I mean by “don’t settle” is that you shouldn’t permanently commit to a particular way of living and a particular collection of experiences. Your life ought to be dynamic, ever evolving, and exciting.
You could be thinking, “Well, that’s excellent advice coming from a young man with no responsibilities, but I’ve got a wife, kids, and a house payment.” We all have commitments that must be met, but what you’re providing is really simply an excuse. As long as you are in charge of your own development, you may flourish and expand in any environment.
When you have more on your plate, you need to get creative to maintain your sense of fun and fulfilment. Because it was necessary, no one will care that you wasted your life. Whenever possible, an alternative must be created if none already exists. Don’t make up reasons to prevent yourself from living a fantastic life.
Needless to say, the aforementioned nine actions are only the beginning. The question is, what would you suggest people do to make their lives more exciting?
